hay all.
Well every now and then I do a bit of musical promotion, but its not very common, since I happen to believe that a lot of modern music is really really terrible! But anyways, this guy, Frank turner should be on everyone's list. If you like folk acoustic guitar or the lighter side, musically anyway, of modern rock, this guy is unquestionably the way to go, the key is his lyrics, which are often simple, but they speak in very articulate ways about subjects which are surprisingly furmilliar to all of us. The loss of idealism, the love of music, the betrayal of family and the act of waking up with a bloody massive hangover and not knowing anyone! Lol check out some links posted below of his music as found on youtube. I didn't post any live stuff though just oficial video releases since live quality is usually not great.
one of my favourites love ire and song:

I couldn't agree more. One of my favourite artists of the last couple of years. As a musician, I have a lot of musician friends, and he's one of the first people i tell them about, and all of them are instantly fans. I think its the realism in his lyrics, and the fact that he's not trying to be commercial, and all he wants to do is play music and drink with people who enjoy music. definitely check him out.
lol good to see someone knows about him. Good lyrics and apparently a lot of stage presence. would love to go to one of his shows.
I'm a huge fan of Frank Turner. Heard him on an independent radio station a good while back, and I've been a fan ever since. He was in my neck of the woods this past October, but I didn't have anyone interested in that kind of thing so I wasn't able to attend the show. But aside from that, I love Turner and all of his stuff, especially his lyrics and how damn catchy a lot of the songs are.
